The moment that stuck with us was standing on the windy terrace below Uchisar Castle, watching our kids point out the strange rock shapes and trying to guess what they used to be. The guide kept the group moving at a steady pace, but was patient enough to answer all the questions from the children and a few very curious adults. We appreciated that entrance fees and lunch were already taken care of, which made the day feel relaxed. The group was a nice mix of families and couples, and after a while people started sharing stories on the bus and swapping photo spots. Our guide kept a steady, calm rhythm and always explained what was next, which I really appreciated as a solo traveler. Lunch being included made the schedule very easy, even if the meal itself was rather simple. Only minor downside was a short wait in the midday heat for the minibus between two stops, but overall the pace felt very well thought out and never rushed.
Cool spring air on the rocks at Uchisar Castle, with soft wind and camera shutters clicking everywhere. Watching the late-afternoon light slide over the valleys with my partner felt quietly special. Lunch was decent but a bit basic; still, the guide’s stories gave every photo more meaning.
