Day 1 / Izmir, Kusadasi – Pergamon

Tour Description : Depart from your hotel in Kusadasi, Izmir (or Izmir airport) in the morning and drive to Pergamon which is one of the finest archaeological sites in Turkey. After an 1 hour drive, tour starts with the visit of Acropolis. On the Acropolis, there are numerous remains including the celebrated Library, the steepest Theater of Anatolia, the Temples of Trojan and Dionysos, the places of the monumental Altar of Zeus famous with the relief of God and devils, the Sanctuary of Demeter, the Gymnasium situated on terraces, and the lower Agora. After a delicious lunch with Turkish specialities, you will visit the Archaeological Museum of Pergamon and proceed to the Medical Center of ancient world, Asclepion, where the first pyschological treatment had been used and which was dedicated to the God of Health, Asclepios. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 / Kusadasi – Pamukkale
Tour Highlight : Hierapolis Ancient City, Pamukkale

Tour Description : You will be greeted by our professional tour guide in Izmir and drive to Denizli. After a 3,5 hours drive you will reach to a combination of history and nature Pamukkale. This beatiful and spectacular natural site, unique in the world with the fairylike, dazzling white, patrified cascade. There you will see the thermal spring water laden with clacareous salt, plunging down the mountain-side has created this natural formation of stalactites, cataracts and basins. Because of this therapeutic power the thermal water has been used since the Roman period. You will visit the ancient city of Hierapolis with Apollo Temple competing with Delphi, Monumental Nympheum a 4th century Basilica and the Theater. After visiting the best preserved Necropolis, return to Izmir. Lunch is included in the tour as well as transfer back to your hotel.
Day 3 / Kusadasi – Ephesus

Tour Description : You will be greeted by our professional tour guide and drive to Selcuk which is one of the most visited touristic destinations within Turkey.tour starts with the visit of the best preserved and restored ancient city in Turkey. You will visit Ephesus which is known to be the commercial, the religious and the social center of antiquity. Ephesus is probably the best combination of Greek, Roman and Byzantine civilisations. With the mithological stories and spectacular ruins you will feel the life in ancient Ephesus. You will visit the fountains of Trojan, Polio, the Temple of Hadrian and Domition, Private House, the Library of Celcius, Varius and Scolastica Baths, Bouloterion and the Great Theatre with a capacity of 24.000 spectators. After lunch, you will visit the House of Virgin Mary where she spent last days of her life, located on Mt.Koressos (Mount Nightingale). Thereafter you will visit the Basilica of St.John which was constructed by Justinian I in the 6th century. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to the airport or to your hotel depending on your schedule.
